Office 2024 LTSC Professional Plus download: official installer and activation guide

What “LTSC” means

Office LTSC 2024 is the perpetual, one-time-purchase version of Office 2024: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Access and Publisher. Long-Term Servicing Channel means it gets security updates until October 9, 2029 but no new cloud features over time, which is exactly what most people want from a bought-once Office. No Microsoft account is required to activate it.

It runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). There is no Mac version of Professional Plus; Mac users need Office Home & Business for Mac.

Before you install

Office 2024 LTSC Professional Plus download and install (installer from your order email)

Every KRBKeys order includes a ready-made installer link in the order email. It contains Microsoft’s Office Deployment Tool already set up for Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024 (64-bit, English), and it downloads Office directly from Microsoft.

1. Open your order email and click the download link. A small file, Office_2024_EN_64Bits3.exe (about 3.5 MB), downloads.
2. Open the file. If Windows asks for permission, click Yes. Office downloads and installs by itself; stay online, it takes 5 to 15 minutes.
3. When it says You’re all set! Office is installed now, click Close. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote and Access are in the Start menu.

Manual method: Office Deployment Tool (other languages, or no email link)

If you don’t have the email link or want Office in another language, install it yourself with Microsoft’s Office Deployment Tool. It’s the same tool businesses use; for a single PC it’s three short steps.

1. Download the Office Deployment Tool: microsoft.com/download (ID 49117). Run it and extract to a folder such as C:\Office.
2. In that folder, create configuration.xml with the content below (Notepad is fine; make sure it’s saved as .xml, not .txt).
3. Open Command Prompt as administrator, go to the folder and run the installer. Wait until it reports it has finished.

Activate with your key

Method 1: inside Office

1. Open Word → File → Account → Change Product Key (or “Enter a product key instead” on the sign-in screen).
2. Enter the 25-character key from your order and click Activate. The Account page should then read Product Activated · Microsoft Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024.

Method 2: command line (if method 1 rejects the key)

LTSC editions sometimes refuse a key in the window but accept it from the activation script. Open Command Prompt as administrator and run, replacing the X’s with your key:

The last command should end with Product activation successful. Open Word and check File → Account to confirm.
